Security at moonESCROW

moonESCROW uses server-side authorization to restrict access to account, transaction and administrative functions according to the authenticated user's role and relationship to a transaction.

Account security

Authentication sessions use protected cookies and server-managed session records. Security-sensitive requests are subject to access controls and request validation.

Payment information

Private payment instructions are restricted to authorized participants and staff workflows. Expired payment instructions are not intended to remain available to buyers as current payment details.

Files and evidence

Supported uploads are validated and sensitive transaction evidence is served through authenticated application routes rather than being intentionally exposed as unrestricted public files.

Responsible account use

Users should keep their credentials private, verify the transaction shown in their account before making a payment, and contact support if they notice unexpected activity.
